Subject:pasting between projects

I would like to paste several tracks from an existing project into a new project.Is their some way of doing this without rendering the selected tracks to a new track saving it and then painting the new track into the new project.

Open a second Acid window.
Open Acid twice and copy/paste from one to the other.
