Hi, Unfortunately i can not get hold of an accapella for a particualer track. I do have the original track, but want to isolate the vocals and ruduce the music as much as possible so that i can add my own beat. What is the best way to do this? i have tryed EQ'ing, but i still get a lot of background music. Also if i get a copy of a CD onto my hard drive and thern import it into acid, it automatically converts into .wav format. Will this lead to any loss of quality when i eventually burn the mix onto a CD-R? Hope you can help, Thanks. Dave. |

Unfortunately there is no way to isolate vocals from instruments once all of the tracks have been mixed to stereo. A WAV file is essentially uncompressed audio, so the quality should not differ from the original and you will lose no quality when burning the audio to a CD-R. Ted |
