When I'm recording MIDI in ACID 4.0 it seems to 'Drift Off Tempo' around about 3 minutes or so. P4 - 2.67Ghz - 896DDR - XP Pro w/ serv pack 1 - ECHO MIA - GeForce 2 MXDH Pro - SampleTank - Junglist - B4 - MidiMan49 USB Keystation (Yes... I have all the latest drivers and most recent version of ACID.) I have horrible latency issues when I use anything but the ECHO ASIO WDM drivers during recording. (Microsoft Sound Mapper or Windows Classic Wave Driver) I'm talking hit the synth keys then hear your note 3 keystrokes later. But during playback I have to switch over to the Windows Classic Wave Driver or I'll get hesitations. I look at my usage meter in the lower right hand corner and it will say 24/896, but I still have problems. What gives? Thanks in Advance, Lamont Also, I had my first crash today. A 'minidump' of sorts. First one since I revamped my system like 2 months ago. I hope this doesn't start another vicious cycle of crashing. |

Almost sounds soundcard-driver related. Does it happen with every VSTi? What if you tried lowering video acceleration (or turn it off altogether)? HTH, Iacobus |
