Subject:Mac equivalent to ACID?

I've used ACID with great love for about 2 years now. I have recently purchased a Mac, and was curious what the equivalent to ACID would be on the Mac. Mac has prided itself on being the multimedia advantage -- I'd like to see if they have anything that compares. Any thoughts?

Phrazer, but I know some mac folks who did not like it. I read a NAB report that Apple is creating a loop based tool for use with final cut, I posted an inquiry about that a few weeks ago.

as a mac user for six years, acid made me abandon the mac platform for the most part, believe it or not. there is really nothing like acid on the mac platform, except ableton live 2. it still isn't as intuitive as acid. you can't import mp3 or cd audio either. the auditioning isn't as flexible. live triggering of loops is nice, but nothing can touch the simplicity of acid's GUI. i used it for weeks with out having to look at a manual. call me crazy but Live's cartoonish user interface gives me motion sickness.

i tried everything to stay with my mac. Live, phrazer, and i even ran acid 2.0 with virtual pc. Nothing came close and that new soundtrack app doesn't even count unless you're running os x and have a grand to blow. Once acid 4.0 came out i just had to get a new p4 to run it and i'm much more productive now. i sold my ibook in january, but i still run reason on my imac occasionally.
