Subject:Mic Getting Flat Line In Acid Pro 4.0

Im Running Windows XP PRO
ACID 4.0
Sound Blaster Live
When i try to record with the mic, i recorded it, and the mic is recognized but its at a really low volume, and the line is flat, how do i fix this?

Which version of the Live? Are you using an amplified (or powered) jack? The line in of a Sound Blaster card is typically unamplified.
