Ok i download Acid 4.0 from kazaa to my new comp. it works fine on my dads comp but ever since i got this new comp, it wont work. It says it has ended prematurly due to my comp not being modified.

I tried to use cool edit pro as well and when i open the program at the start up it says illegal opertaion or sumthin like that

but does anyone know about the modifed system thing with Acid, please help

Kazaa is a very bad way to download anything. You never know what worms & viruses you're getting along with the download and the kazaa software opens your computer up to attacks from all over the world. You should download ACID from SonicFoundry directly:

I don't know what you mean by "modified system thing".

As Kelly mentioned, never download something like ACID or Cool Edit from Kazaa. Always get the real deal from the vendors' Web sites.

(Just so we're clear, please don't use cracked software.)
