Not sure if this will help outright, but be sure to get the latest version of the CATALYST drivers at ATI's Web site. There was an issue with a previous version of the drivers and SoFo apps. Be sure to follow instructions. You will basically want to uninstall your current RADEON drivers before installing the new ones. HTH, Iacobus |

mddrudge i get the same error constantly and i have a terratec ews64 as well. although acid 4.0c won't run at all :( i remember getting v4.0b to work by just moving the folder with the sonic foundry asio driver to another place. as far as i can figure out acid must do some kind of auto search for asio drivers at startup. since the terratec drivers never left beta state they cause problems with quite some proggies. if you want a program that runs stable with your asio driver you could check out fruity loops or cubase. |

oh and ----by the way----- i recently upgraded to directx9 on my win98 system. maybe this is the clue why acid won't start at all now. but here i guess you'll need help from the sonic foundry people. |
