I have a mastered soundtrack at 48Khz (Wav). I am trying to encode this to AC-3 by rendering it using Vegas. My question to the experts out there is - how can I set it so that the change to AC-3 Stereo Encoding does not muck about with the volume levels - it keeps lowering the gain (a lot!). I have tried playing with the settings but so far nothing is working. I am stumped. Surely there is a way. ? |

Check the following settings: - dialog normalization...the lower it is, the greater the gain when your material is decoded. - dynamic range compression -pj |
