My friend has Pro Tools. He says I can send him my produced tracks sequenced the way I want to him through cd, but I have to fill in the gaps where no music is playing with "blank space" or something to that nature. Does anyone know what he's talkin about. Apparently if I'd send him as is he wouldn't know that the guitar is supposed to come in at a cetain point and so on. 2nd- In the beat chopper I'll take a breakbeat and switch the parts around. But when I go to copy the new beat I've made it only will elt me do it piece by piece. Is there another way to do this that would be quicker. |

1) When you go to render, use the "save each track as a separate file" option. This will produce a complete track from beginning to end for each track in your project, even if there's absolute silence between events on a track. 2) You trying to simply copy events that were switched around using the Chopper? Try selecting them all using the Selection Tool and doing a copy and paste that way. (Be sure to place the cursor where you want the paste to occur. There are other ways too. Once you use the Selection Tool, you can switch to the Draw Tool (CTRL+D is the shortcut) and while holding down CTRL, click and drag to copy the range of selected events. HTH, Iacobus |
