I am tring to record a old album/record and everything is great except for the dust poping noise in the back ground would there be a way to correct this ?

Buy Noise Reduction for SF.

It can be done, but there is always a cost.

Sure... the SF Noise Reduction-2 plug-in. It ain't cheap but it works.
You could also use the Tools/Repair/Replace menu, however this could take weeks, months or years to find and highlight every click or pop, and then what would you have? .... a file that has been re-rendered a gazillion times.
