Can anyone tell me how i record the outputs of Acid (Thru Gina 24 into hardware desk with EQ /Fx on desk etc) and back into the same PC , into Soudforge?

I can have both Soundforge and Acid open on the Same PC and play them both no problems.

Its just that i want Acid to go thru my desk and back into the Same PC to master in Soundforge. (in a loop if you like)

Can this be done? i know you can mixdown in Acid and render into Soundforge but coming "out"& thru the desk, i can add hardware FX and modules/samples to my Acid project.

Ive been recording Acid's outputs thru the desk and to DAT, and the Recording the DAT back into Soundforge, via s/pdif! is this really long winded??!! - is there an easier way? like ive mentioned above??!!

help!

Does the Gina have a software mixer panel of some sort? If you can route playback via a software mixer, you might be able to select the said mixer as the recording input in Sound Forge. I imagine this would all be dependent on the vendor.

Example: My Audiophile 2496 has a control panel that lets me route playback to a software mixer, which I can then choose as recording input in Sound Forge. Anything I playback in ACID is therefore routed right into Sound Forge.
