Subject:Midi Files can not be used in other projects....?

Hi,
i'd like to use basslines that i created in other projects with my current song...Any midi files i create in one song, are not useable in others...why?

They just appear blank.

if i try to copy and paste them from another open acid project the whole output of the midi instrument goes haywire and outputs volume at 600dm..makes a really nasty clicking noise.

By default, ACID does not write out any new MIDI data to the file associated with a MIDI track. You must save the track file to the existing or a new file from the MIDI track properties window.
