I can't record the Line-in audio feed in Acid Pro 4. I am trying to record a guitar, and it is hooked up great, I have it hooked up through an effects pad, as to get the distortion effects. But I hooked it up, and I can hear it perfectly through the speakers, but Acid will only record the Microphone feed. I tried hooking it up through the microphone jack, it worked, but the quality really sucked. I have a Monster Sound MX 300 sound card, and the manufacturers arent giving me any answers. And I read the help file and it said to use something besides "Microsoft Sound Mapper" so I set the origonal, and that still didn't work. Any ideas? |

You should be able to specifically select a hardware input for recording. This should be under the "record device" field in the Record window. What are your choices there? (Be sure you have your soundcard's outputs specifically selected for playback on the Audio tab under Options>Preferences on the menu bar.) HTH, Iacobus |
