Subject:can't open mpg in Acid 4.0b

I have SF6.0, and Vegas 4.0. I was having problems opening mpgs in SF until I downloaded the latest update, now it works great. I downloaded the latest update for Acid and I still can't open mpgs in it. It gives me 'the file format plugin for the specified format was not properly initialized'. Do I need some plugin for acid to open mpgs? I assume it takes the same mainconcept thing that SF and Vegas use, and both of them open mpgs fine. And it isn't an 'unsupported media' error, it's something about a plugin didn't properly initialize. Any advise? thank you-BB

I believe they do share the same MainConcept plug-in for opening/working with MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 files.

Have you tried uninstalling everything and just installing ACID to see if you can work with MPEG files from there?
