Subject:Acid 4 won't remember VSTi

In using some plugsound VSTi's (v1.82- the latest)I repeatedly have to open up the Plugsound 5 synth. The program defaults to the DLS Soft Synth when I open up a song, and I then have to change the DLS to the plugsound synth and patch that I want. A real pain for sure!! Ironically, the same song will open up the other instances of the plugsound 4 hip hop synths that I have in the song, but not this one. Any ideas anyone? TIA!
