With my new acid 4.0 I oftentimes get an error, right when I start a song. After "Okaying" it, Acid closes down. The details say for example: Sonic Foundry ACID Pro 4.0 Version 4.0 (Build 215) Exception 0xC0000090 (float invalid operation) IP:0x65B5147 In Module 'TRUEVERB.DLL' at Address 0x65B0000 + 0x5147 Thread: GUI ID=0xFFE7F2DF Stack=0xC2E000-0xC30000 Registers: EAX=00003ffc CS=016f EIP=065b5149 EFLGS=00210206 EBX=000005f1 SS=0177 ESP=00c2e210 EBP=00c2e35c ECX=00003ff6 DS=0177 ESI=02fe339c FS=19df EDX=00001fbe ES=0177 EDI=02fe306c GS=19ce Bytes at CS:EIP: 065B5149: DC 4C 24 30 DE C1 D8 44 .L: 8E 04 8D 0C 51 81 E1 FF ....Q... This crash occurs in TRUEVERB.DLL, which would be the Waves TrueVerb plugin. It would be helpful to know what version you are using. It would also be wise to inform Waves of this problem. It also appears that you are not running the latest update of ACID 4 (4.0b build 317), although I doubt that it will fix this problem. It would be good to eleminate as much from your project as you can and still get this crash, e.g. one track with nothing fancy going on, the TrueVerb plug-in on the track (or the Master or whatever gives you grief). The settings on the TrueVerb plug-in may make a difference. At the end of the day, you will probably have to resolve this issue with Waves. --j |
