Question on menus and chapter titles

Is it possible to add menus and chapter titles to a DVD with Vegas Video or do I need a third-party software to do that?

You need Vegas + DVD which also gives you DVD Architect.

You need a DVD Authoring application. It does not have to be the SoFo's version. Vegas will get you as far as making a compliant file, but by itself it doesn't add Chapters or do any menu system or burn the DVD either. For that you need a DVD Authoring application. DVD Architect is one such application.

If you want something that is very easy on the pocketbook and still a nice solution, give Ulead's DVD MovieFactory a look.
