Subject:automation doesnt automate anymore???

can anyone possibly tell me why my automation envelopes (resonant filter to be exact) wont automate anymore??? (acid 4.0b) it just stopped working. effect still works, but they just wont automate. any ideas????

Did it stop working as soon as you installed 4.0b or did b work for a while and just quit?

Does the TrackEQ still work?

Is it possible that automation is bypassed for the plug-in (there's a "Bypass Automation" button in the Audio Plug-In window next to the plug-in preset controls).

If it's not that, I'm actually quite mystified. This is the first we've heard of this and 4.0b has been out for a while now...

actually ive had 4.0b installed for a few moths....and its been fine. it just started this morning!!!!! i tried everything. cant figure it out. the "bypass automation" button is NOT checked.....oh god im fu*ked!!!!! :-( im right in the middle of a pretty big remix im working on....AND THIS GOES AND HAPPENS!!!! im goin back to reel to reel. anyone.....please help???

I'm afraid the only advice I can give you is to try to reinstall ACID 4.0b and see what happens.

I am doubtful you will recieve responses from the forum community on this because I'm pretty sure your situation is unique.

I do hope you can get it working for you (and I'm glad you use the thing).

It really doesn't automate in any case at all (ie. new project, one track, only the resonant filter on the track)?

Sorry for being incredulous, but I can't imagine why it would just stop working.
