ACID DJ QUITS / MEMORY Problem? -ACID Product Family

Subject:ACID DJ QUITS / MEMORY Problem? Posted by: butterball Date:4/5/2003 5:57:23 PM My Acid DJ 3.0's been acting funny. When I record a new track, it quits after about 20 seconds. I click on "END NOW" (in XP), then when I open Acid later, all my work is gone. After this happened a bunch of times, I got a Windows message saying "VIRTUAL MEMORY MINIMUM TOO LOW." I have 198 mgs of ram and thought this was enough. Should I upgrade to 256? 500? *** I also got goofy symantec alert messages saying, "The integrity of you settings cannot be verified." I'm assuming the lack of memory triggered something.

Got something such as Norton Utilities? That could be taking up precious memory (or even causing a memory leak). Try to update the software if possible and/or shut it down before running ACID. That should be enough memory. XP does like about 256 or more though.
