My ACID 3.0 is GONE--Please I need help!! -ACID Product Family

Subject:My ACID 3.0 is GONE--Please I need help!! Posted by: Racontinu Date:4/4/2003 1:47:35 AM I had ACID 3.0. Now it seems i lost it forever--don't know why or how. It all started like this. I had ACID 3.0, I went to the SonicFoundry site to look at loops and free downloads. They have a download for this thing called ACID XPress. It's free stuff, so I download. During this download, ACID XPress, replaces my ACID 3.0 and I have an ACID XPress icon on my desktop and No ACID 3.0 icon. I go to open up ACIDXPress and they ask me for a password that is supposed to be in a manual (that I don't have). I go back to the site and download the manual listed with the ACIDXPress--Once downloaded, i find there is no password in this manual--(of course). So I say forget it--I went back to my original ACID 3.0 CD and add the program to my computer again. So the ACID 3.0 icon is back on my desktop, I go to open it up and it tells me quote: "The ACID.EXE file is linked to missing export SCDI.DLL:?SfCdi_Initialixe@@YGJPAUHINSTANCE__@@KPADK@Z" This message shows up when I try to open BOTH icons for ACID 3.0 and ACIDXPress. So I can't even get into ACIDXPress, not to mention the password i was supposed to use. WHAT IS HAPPENING? How can I solve the situation, and have my program back? Please help!! -racontinu
