Subject:Recording/Tracking Question

Heyas,

Ok, using Acid Pro 4.0. One of my uses for the program is to mix songs together. At the end of a mix, it usually contains 12-15 songs and about 75-80 minutes. What I want to do is drop CD Tracking information into the mix, so it doesn't record as 1 *really* long song.
Can Acid Pro 4.0 do this, and if so how?
If not, besides CD Artecitech (sp?) can anyone recommend a program that will?

Thanks!

You could insert regions and then bring the resulting long WAV file into Sound Forge 6.0 (full version only, not Sound Forge Studio 6.0) and use its "Extract Regions" feature to split the long WAV file into several files and use the CD burning app of your choice. If you want Disc-at-Once (or DAO; no gaps between tracks) burning, Vegas 4.0, CD Architect 5.0, Easy CD Creator and Nero Burning ROM all feature DAO burning.

(Place the Loop Region over an area you'd like to create into a region and press R on your keyboard.)

You could also set the Loop Region over a certain part of your mix and then render using the "Render loop region only" option under File>Render As on the menu bar. Then use the CD burning app of your choice as I've mentioned before.

HTH,
Iacobus
