I recently recorded some songs with a band that I'm in. I then mastered them in Sound Forge 5.0. When that was done, we recorded the singer, and then moved to ACID pro 4.0 to layer them. When everything was lined up, I mastered the singing track, and noticed that when both of the audio tracks were fairly loud at the same time, there is a constant unbearable crackling sound, but when the sound files are listened to at the same place alone, they sound fine. Both files are 48k, and 16bit .WAVs. Please tell me if there is anyway to prevent this. Thanks. |

Sounds like clipping is going on. Check the Master volume meter in ACID's Mixer window? HTH, Iacobus |

Duh, thanks a lot, didn't think that would be the problem, but, it was. Thanks. |
