You have to set up recording...
First go to control panel>Sound/Audio Devices> Volume tab, check the box for icon in the taskbar, hit the advanced button make sure the volume on the microphone is turned up and there's not a check in the mute box>Audio tab, also check Voice if you have one, make sure default recording device is correct. Open Acid prepare to record make sure the Record Device is the one you selected in the control panel...That should do it...Level Vibes

Go to the Audio tab under Options>Preferences on the menu bar. Choose the desired hardware audio output there. Your hardware's inputs should then be available to record with. (Are you using ACID Pro 3.0?)

Did the suggestions work? Are you able to select a specific input for recording?
