I had problems with my CD drives so I reinstalled XP and now ACID won't record properly. First, when I start it, it says can't find "d:/program" and the box is titled RUNDLL. Then it goes away and when i record, the volume flutters on playback, like a constant volume fluctuation. Any ideas/fixes? Thanks. |

Could be any number of things... sound card driver problem, after reinstall did you update your drivers? Could be Acid install or config problem. Also Audio Preferences problem. Check your control panel>Sounds and Audio Devices>make sure you're set up correctly. Normally default drive is C: and it sounds as if your system is searching CDrom for the program. Try putting your Acid Disk in the D: drive and see if it finds it, if so reinstall Acid and make sure it's set up in the correct location. Normally C:\program files\sonic foundry...Level Vibes |
