Subject:Music 3 sputters on play back

Playing back a song in explorer or on the time line every few seconds the song sputters. Does anyone one have any idea what is wrong? Songs play fine in win amp as well as easy creator. I re-installed the latest update and still the same thing.

Could be a number of things. Any programs running in the background? Shut them down. Update your soundcard's drivers if available as well. Try also adjusting the playback buffering on the Audio tab under Options>Preferences on the menu bar.

Thanks Iacobus. I adjusted the buffering from 36% to 100% and no more stuttering, Thanks.

I forgot to mention that a soundcard (and its drivers) can have a lot of bearing on ACID's performance. I used to use a Sound Blaster Live!, which was really a dog with ACID. I've since upgraded to a pro-quality card and haven't looked back since.
