Subject:Distortion when Previewing

When previewing a loop (while the project is playing), I am getting distortion. It will stop if I do not play the project while previewing. Does anyone know what is causing this? I am running WIN XP. Any help is appreciated.

Lower your channel faders or your master fader or your preview fader... or a combination of all three.

Sorry...I guess I should have been more exact. The distortion/crackling starts as the the loop to be previewed is starting to load. After that the crackling continues in both the Master and the Preview busses (no matter what the volume is). I tried reloading the driver but that did not fix it either. Any ideas??

What sound card are you using? What is your audio set up in Acid preferences?

I'm using my Digi 001 and the ASIO Driver.
