I'm nearing completion of mixing a guitar/cello duo CD, and am shopping around for mastering services. I need someone who is very sensitive to this style and instrumentation and who won't mess it up by going beyond necessary subtleties -- also someone who is sensitive to a budget. The project is steel string acoustic with cello (two tracks also have acoustic piano). Stylistically and sonically it is very Phil Keaggy/Tommy Emmanuel/Yo Yo Ma'ish. If you know anyone that you would highly recommend for such a project, please let me know. You can email me directly through my website at www.markmccain.com. You can also find some pre-release sound clip examples of what the project is shaping up to. The final pre-masterd tracks (before they go to whomever I find to do final mastering) will likely be 48K/24 bit and will have some Ozone 2.0 applied (slight stereo expansion, dynamic compression, loudness maximizer). Thanks, Mark www.markmccain.com |
