Subject:Where to store music

Whenever I have finished a song, I find that all the song parts (instruments) are mixed in with all the other songs I have done when saved (my documents at the moment is littered with hundreds of .wav files). Is there a simple way of keeping the song parts seperate? I know it's a dum question, but I'm losing track of all my song parts. Even when I rename them in Acid, they are not saved as that name. Help....!!!

1. open a song in acid
2. goto file > "save as"
3. chose a new location (create a folder if needed)
4. select "copy all media with project"

that puts the files for that song in that song's folder
