Been an Acid user for years now...just upgraded to 4.0
Everything seems to be running fine, my only question is this: why is that when i open my acd.zip projects my loops dont run in sync? When I open them back up on 3.0 it syncs up tight. Can anyone help me with this?
Pentium 4 1.7 GHZ, 400 MHZ CPU, 512 RAM, 40GB HD, WINDOWS 98 2ND EDITION, M-AUDIO QUATTRO.

Weird. What if you save the project under a different name in ACID 4.0, close it then reopen? I've noticed some very general funkiness with older projects created in 2.0 and 3.0, but nothing like what you've been experiencing.

Does a project rendered out to WAV produce a similar result? Or is it just playback?

Thanks for the input, I actually saved it under a different name and reopened it. Now I'm getting this: ! An Error occurred while starting playback, The system is low on memory, you may be able to reduce memory usage by closing other applications! Is There something I need to configure? All other apps are closed, as in all of them.

that is kind of weird...is it doing that in all your songs? Have you changed the tempo?

Did you try restarting your system? Try also booting into Safe Mode and then back into normal mode. (Booting in Safe Mode will sometimes shake any bugs loose, but it's no guarantee.)

Be absolutely sure nothing else is running in the background by using CTRL+ALT+DELETE and then closing everything except "Explorer" and "Systray" by clicking each program and then "End Task". (You may have another window pop up telling you some stubborn program is having problems. Just click OK and the program should close.)

Try uninstalling/reinstalling the Quattro's drivers. It probably won't help but it's worth a shot.
