Subject:SF 4.5 with Windows XP records streams?

Hello:

I am not sure if this is a sound card issue, but i am under the impression it doesn't matter which sound card you are using with SF, the program should record anything being output by whatever sound card you have.

does anyone know the settings on XP to record from the web?

thx.

this sounds great in theory, but in fact, there is no "options" tab when i double click on the speaker...

here is what i see:

there are three pics that show the settings in XP. I am not sure what I am missing.

spillmind:

As shown in your sfprob.gif, Under "Device Volume", click Advanced-->Options-->Properties, then check the "recording" box to get to what Chien is referring to.

It looks like what happened is that you opened up control panel and clicked on the speaker icon there, instead of clicking on the one in the task bar (lower right corner of the screen).
