i would like to burn my file to an audio cd and insert track marks at various places so it does not burn as one long file. is it possible to do this with acid pro 4? also, whenever i use the 'burn-track-at-once audio cd' feature, i end up full cd that cannot be read by a cd player or my computer. what am i doing wrong? billy |

ACID burns to a CD on a project-by-project basis. That means whatever you have in front of you for a project will be burned as one entire track to CD. A way around it is to render each part of your project under different names. (Use the "render loop region only" option with desired tracks soloed.) Then bring each rendered part in as a One-shot and burn that way. An ideal way is to render the whole project out with regions and then extract those regions with Sound Forge (full version only), then take the resulting regions and burn using the app of your choice. Remember that Track-at-Once (TAO) burning necessitates a 2 second silent gap between tracks, whereas Disc-at-Once (DAO) burning doesn't. ACID Pro is a TAO app, as is Sound Forge. Vegas is a DAO app, as is CD Architect as well as other third party apps such as Easy CD Creator and Nero. HTH, Iacobus |

Wait. I need to correct myself. You can use the technique I described in my previous post, but instead of rendering out each loop region, there's an option to burn using the loop region only. Use that. Iacobus |
