Subject:Strange Problem in playback (SF 6.0)

I'm running on Windows 2000, with a swapfile at 384 Megs. I came back to using Sound Forge after some time doing other things, and I find that the playback is all choppy! I am sometimes able to get a clean playback with a small file (after I upped the swapfile size), but often a second try gets the buzzsaw effect.

Any ideas?

In a nutshell, what did you do?
