Subject:acid crash

Hi , Just switched from W2k to XP(standard install) . After install of updated Acid4.0b it crashes
continually with the error "faulting module ntdll.dll , fault adress 0x00057412
I use an Audiophile 2496 card. Drivin me nuts... Anyone?

Try completely uninstalling ACID and install using the 4.0b update (which is actually can act as the full version; keep your serial key handy).

Are you using the supported 5.10.00.27 Audiophile 2496 drivers and ASIO? Be sure to hop on over to M-Audio's site and pick up the betas. (The 5.10.00.31 set works fine.)
