Subject:Church Ladies Exercise Mix

I have been asked to assemble an aerobic mix for the ladies of my church. They have given me the CD's with all the tracks outlined and the BPM's they want each song at. Can Acid do this? I've been hacking away at the 4.0 Demo for about 2 hours and it seems very cumbersome. I am quite well versed in Sound Forge but feel like a nitwit with Acid. All I want to do is change the tempos of the tracks, edit them together and burn them on a CD. Seems like that should be pretty simple but Sound Forge can't do it simply. Needless to say I'm a little discouraged. As the fly said, "Help Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

You could use Sound Forge's Process>Time Stretch function if you knew the tempos of the audio files. Consult this KB article for more details.

I take it you want to crossfade these tracks? If so, once you get them synch'ed together correctly, overlap them sequentially, then select two overlapping tracks' events and press F on your keyboard. You could also do this in Sound Forge per the KB article above.
