Subject:Midi Preferences Posted by: NonStop Date:3/5/2003 5:45:51 PM When I record a midi track, during playback, sometimes it gives me right notes, then sometimes I get a completely different sound than the voice I chose to use with my Yamaha PSR 290. I don't know if my Midi Preferences are the problem or what. I was hoping someone might know what preferences I should use. I have a SB Audigy and I use a MidiPort 2x2. For my input selections, should I select In-A MidiPort 2x2 or SB Audigy Midi Port? And for my outputs, I have a list of Out-A USB MidiPort 2x2/ SB Audigy Synth/ SB Audigy Synth A/B/ SB Audigy Midi Port then Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth. Don't know if I should have all selected or just a couple. All help is appreciated....all this so I can successfully record Midi in their right tones and then successfully render with Midi sound coming out of Wav. I seem to have a problem with that too. I have real time midi selected and use a Midi Thru when recording.
