Is it easy to partition your HD using such programs as "partition magic"? and are the overall benefits worth it in the long run? Jus' im thinking of doing this as ive heard it can make your system more stable.. Anyone care to give me some pointers on how to do it and maybe some pitfalls to avoid? cheers :) |

There’s NO benefit in partitioning you drive, unless you’re planning to dual boot two operating systems. |

"Partitioning is a personal thing. There is no right or wrong way to partition a hard drive. Whether you prefer to bust up your disk into multiple, smaller partitions, or leave it as a single, large partition, that's entirely up to you. In either case, no one can claim that you did anything wrong. It all depends on your particular system and what kinds of things you do with your system. It depends on what works best for you. A disk with multiple partitions offers advantages over a disk with only a single partition, because it offers a greater degree of flexibility." read more: http://partition.radified.com/partitioning.htm |
