Is there a way to view MIDI in staff notation in addition to the Piano Roll and Event editor? Would I need to buy a MIDI editor plug-in? If so, what are my options? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. |

I wouldn't mind this at all either, but we might have to wait either for the next version or a third party to create an OPT editor with a staff view. Maybe also make a product suggestion? Iacobus |

Thanks for the link, mD. I went ahead and made the suggestion. I looked for OPT editor plug-ins as well and could only find one from GenieSys. I downloaded the demo and it has nice features but staff view is unfortunately not one of them. Maybe I should make a suggestion to GenieSys as well. If it had staff view, I would have purchased it. Anyone else have a suggestion? Anyone know of a MIDI application with staff view and VSTi support for under $100 US? |

Under a $100...yeah right...! GenieSoft's Overture upgrade from 2 to 3 is $79; maybe they're close..! Sibelius and Coda (Finale, Allegro, etc..) are primo apps, and considered by many to offer the crem de le crem, even entry level stuff is very kickass...and...Overture's not too bad either; that's what I got, but personally, I really like the other parties "feel"...I thot the Coda stuff was close to you guys there at Madison..? what the hell..? you oughta know that..! got the same weather as you, etc...! WAKE UP...! |
