Nice starter setup you've got. Absolute essentials: Pick up the manuals for ACID 4.0 and Sound Forge Studio 6.0 (Pick up the Sound Forge 6.0 manual; it'll tell you what features are only in the full version.) Specifically, concentrate on learning how to extract audio from a CD in either program and using the Chopper and Beatmapper in ACID Pro. Check this KB article out for using the Beatmapper on imported tracks with varying tempos. Be sure to always be on the lookout for new updates to fix any bugs in existing programs. HTH, Iacobus |

You're welcome. Be sure not to take it all in at once or you might end up frustrated. Tackle the basics first and then go on from there only when you feel comfortable. Iacobus |

I believe there is a tutorial on beatmapper. It is one of the more complicated features of acid, so you might want to take on some of the more simple features first. Check out the 8 pack on acidplanet.com |
