OK, I'm not very literate in the terms of Acid. I am using Acid Pro 4.0 and I have not played with this since I purchased *.Techno a long time ago. I have a drum sound that, for example, plays once every second and that is all I can draw into to do. I used to be able to copy the sound, stretch out the time, and paste it so that it would play like ten times in that second. Does anyone know how to do this? Also, can Acid Pro 4.0 do everything the rest of the Acid family can? ...or are there features in the other software titles that are not in Pro? Thanks a ton !! Steven |

Sounds like the drum sample is a One-shot. Try holding down CTRL on your keyboard with the Paint Tool active and paint across the timeline. (There's more to it, but I won't go deeper until you've had success.) !!! Can ACID Pro 4.0 do everything the rest of the ACID family can? A resounding, "yes," is in order. It's more like there are features in ACID Pro that aren't in the other versions. Check out the full ACID 4.0 manual for the ins and outs. (You'll need Adobe's Acrobat Reader to check out the manual.) OK, cool. I figured it out. I just expand the timeline and draw a piece of the sound and then copy it. I'm not sure why I struggled with this. Thanks, Steven |
