I need some help here. I have one project that I can't get to render everytime I do, the system crashes and gives me this crazy msg: Exception 0xC0000005 (access violation) READ:0xFFFFFFFF IP:0x1042D9C In Module 'ACID40K.DLL' at Address 0x1000000 + 0x42D9C Thread: ProgMan ID=0xFFF0D0FB Stack=0x1E1F000-0x1E20000 Registers: EAX=00649804 CS=018f EIP=01042d9c EFLGS=00210202 EBX=00000000 SS=0197 ESP=01e1f1d0 EBP=006495d0 ECX=00000000 DS=0197 ESI=00649630 FS=3bdf EDX=bffc9490 ES=0197 EDI=00649638 GS=2b76 Bytes at CS:EIP: 01042D9C: 89 01 3B 06 89 46 04 75 ..;..F.u 01042DA4: 0E 8B 76 20 85 F6 74 07 ..v ..t. What format are you rendering to? Have the latest build of ACID 4.0? Is there anything running in the background? (If there is, shut anything off like antivirus programs, firewalls, instant messengers, etc.) It only does it to one project? So other projects don't have the same problem and you can render them fine? HTH, Iacobus |

I tried to render to .wav and .mp3 and when that didn't work I tried to burn the project straight to disc and that also crashed. I have 4.0b and build 317. I tried turning off Norton Antivirus but that didn't help. Yeah I can render all my other projects except this one. |

Strange. Try opening another instance of ACID with your original project open and minimized. Go to your original project and focus on the Track View (ALT+0 (zero) on your keyboard). Use CTRL+A and then CTRL+C. Switch to the blank ACID window. Use CTRL+V. Next, try to render. If it works, consider using the copied project. The only thing is that you'll have to add any assignable FX and busses if there were any in your original project. HTH, Iacobus |

Thanks I tried it and no luck. Still waiting for tech support to email back. This sucks. |

I'm quite puzzled as to why just that one project is giving you grief. Was it originally a project created in an earlier version of ACID? I've noticed some strangeness when working with such projects but nothing major. Just for giggles, try booting into Safe Mode and then back into normal mode. Sometimes, booting into Safe Mode will shake any bugs out. It might not work but it's worth a shot. HTH, Iacobus |

Yeah this is a project that originally created in Music 3.0..The odd thing is I started working on it in 4.0 and had rendered it before while I was working on the mix. Now that the mix is done I can't get it render. I'm going nuts. And I can't seem to get a response from tech support. I emailed them on Th. |

How big is this project? If you don't mind can you save as a Acid.zip and send it to me to see if I can render it? George Ware |
