Transferring Vegas video projects to other MPEG decoder?

Can someone please tell me if I can transfer my final Vegas video project to a third party decoding software like Procoder from Canopus? Also in main concept Is it possible to render a project with Audio and video separated from each other and than transfer to programs like DVD IT PE for the Final work on DVD media?

Sure. Just render to an AVI file and import that file into the other program.

That’s not going to effect the quality?

On areas that have not been changed, there will be NO change in quality (the file is simply copied). On transitions or where effects are added, it will have to be recompressed but this would have to be done to encode to MPEG as well. What will affect quality most is encoding to MPEG as that is a much more compressed format than AVI. I would not worry about a quality loss by going to AVI first.

Thanks a lot.

In answer to your second question, yes the MainConcept encoder can save elementary streams. Choose the Custom button when rendering as MPEG-2, go to the system tab, and it's the top checkbox.
