I would like to know if the encoder is capable of creating Dolby Digital Mono (1/0) tracks.

Yes, the AC-3 encoder supports mono (1/0).

You will need to create a custom template for this purpose as there are presets only for Stereo DVD and 5.1 Surround DVD. However, only stereo (2/0) or 5.1 (3/2) AC-3 files, 64 kbps to 448 kbps inclusive, are DVD Architect-compliant. Anything else will be recompressed if you incorporate it into a DVD Architect project.

Thank you - I would be using the mono encoded files in Sonic Solution's ReelDVD.
