There is no metronome in Acid. None. Nada. You'll have to make do by recording to a drum loop. Or maybe a Hi Hat loop would do. One of us needs to record some metronome clicks in various tempos. That way those of us who are used to the metronome would feel more confortable. |

Actually, a single ACIDized metronome loop should work just fine. (You'd just not specify a root key for stretching.) Any takers? Email me. Iacobus |

As I've thought about this, a percussion loop would probably work best as a metronome. It should show you where 2 and 4 are and give you a groove to play along with. BTW, nice job with the metronome loops. |

I am doing multi-tracking for musical theater right now and was having a few problems getting a decent click track set-up as well. Thanks for the file info - I had run across another pre-recorded click, but the music I'm recording changes time signatures and I was having trouble getting the click to adapt as well - any thoughts? |

If you have a midi sequencer, then I think a midi click track with percussion would be your best bet. That way you can change style as well as tempo. This is the way big acts do it, except they now record it. |
