Is there any way to slow down the playback speed in order to identify/select areas of the file for editing? Thank you |

There isn't a shuttle control, but you can use Process/Time Stretch. |

One very quick and simple thing you can do is to double-click on the sample rate display at the bottom of the screen and set a different sample rate. For example, if your file is 44.1KHz, then setting it to 29.4KHz will make it play 2/3 as fast. This will be just like slowing down a tape recorder; the pitch will drop proportionally as well. When you've found your edit point, mark it by typing M and then set the sample rate back to the original value. |
