How do I delete and then paste together the ends of the still existing portions of the track? For example: if there's a bleep or wave sound in the mp3 or audio track that I want to edit out, once I've erased the portion that I want to delete how do I get rid of the silence it leaves behind? Can anyone help? Thanx |

Thanx Well it's jus a matter highlighting a portion of the two existing parts and moving "it" to the next (maybe zoom in also to get it accurate)!! you will most likely need to ajust the gain aslo(to stop any unwanted clicks) This is done by moving the pointer/tool to the top corner of the sample in question!! but this "also" will result with a drop in volume while the play marker passes over the point where the samples meet..... Also i would not expect it to be in time once this has been done.... if ther is something you want to remove in a sample try using the e.q ! not perfect but better than what i jus suggested.... Good luck :) HTH..... |

Try turning on Ripple Edits. (CTRL+L on your keyboard.) Use the Time Selection Tool when doing ripple edits. (Be sure you only highlight and select what you want within the Loop Region.) HTH, Iacobus |
