Anyone able to get multiple 4GB files to work with VV4?

I saw a post a few weeks ago regarding someone having difficulty getting VV4 to work like VV3 using multiple 4GB files in W98SE. I have the VV4 + DVD on order, but I would like to know if anyone has resolved this issue if indeed it is an issue? I love the way VV3 works with W98SE. I have rendered up to three hours of video using W98SE and transferred it seamlessly to a DV master. Not one dropped frame using multiple 4GB files.

John, The thread was titled "4gig limit in VV?". Th e conclusion was that it's the same as in VV3. 4 gig files render sequentially and seamlessly. Here are the last two responses to thread, the first being mine:

No it works fine. It was a problem particular to one project I was working on apparently. It will create multiple seamless files
when you render avi.s as it did in VV 3.0.

Is VV4 different than VV3 in terms of how it works with large files on W98SE?

As far as I know, we made no changes in this area, Vegas 4 should split AVI renders on 4G FAT32 boundarires just like Vegas 3
did.

Thank you for that reply. I feel a lot better now.
