On a MIDI track I'm wondering how to change the grid spacing in the piano roll editor to fit irregular note lengths/spacing ?? The context is that I have pHATmatikPRO loop all chopped up into a midi sequence - now I want to rearrange the component drum hits to make variations.
Anyone know how?

Like u do with audio . Change the Grid Spacing to ruler marks and enable Snapping - then the value your moves will have inside the piano roll will be the same as your zoom value .ie : if u need to change an 8th note zoom where u can see the 8ths and move your notes around - need to change a 16 th ? zoom one more deeper etc etc .. Keep in mind u cant get past the Acid's resolution but it should be enough for your edits .Cheers ..
