Can anybody help

By default, every track I create has EQ allocated as a track optimised FX. This makes it hard for me to identify which tracks I have actually put fx on. So 2 questions

1. Can I select all tracks and delete track fx?
2. Can I make a default that new tracks have no FX added?

1) No, no way to delete all FX on all tracks with one action.

2) Yes,
make yourself a track with no FX,
right click the track header, choose Set Default Track Properties
make sure the Track FX item is checked in the dialog and press OK.
