Two problems to be exact. The first occurs on occasion when I try to use VST effects in a project. I'm using the Fxpansion lite wrapper. Sometimes I'll load the effect as an insert for a track and when I close the insert FX window, ACID will completely close. There are no error messages or anything. It just disappears from the screen. When I start ACID back up, autosave doesn't kick in either. I can't reproduce this problem at will, it only happens once in a great while (once every week or two). The only similarity seems to be that this only happens with effects using the VST wrapper. My second problem may be related, but I'm not sure. I recently tried to add the Anwida Reverb Light as a Bus effect. It will start to load, but with this effect since it's a freebee it has a little ad that pops up asking you to upgrade before it actually loads. I'll close this pop up and then ACID closes just like in my first scenario, with no error message or autosave when I reopen. The difference though, is this plug is DirectX and this problem I can recreate every time. Anyone else experience anything weird like this? I really don't remember this happening in ACID before I had the VST wrapper, but the weird thing is I had used the Fxpansion demo for 30 days with no similar problems, and also that I'm getting this problem with a DirectX plug.
