First I want to give credit where credit is due... Vegas4 is a hell of a piece of software. As an audio-only user, I find it remarkably stable for an x.0 version, all the new features are wonderful and I get better performance with it than with any previous version. Great work Sofo!
I have however found a problem with the Vibrato plugin. Using this on an audio track causes nasty digital glitches to appear on the render. Sometimes they're not really present or notable while monitoring... they just appear on the render. I can provide mp3 examples if needed - just let me know.
The glitches seem to become more prominent the LESS extreme the vibrato is. So if you make a "crazy" vibrato over 10 seminotes, they may not appear, but make it a more subtle vibrato over 1 seminote, and it becomes much worse.
Maybe somebody could look into this for the next version. I hope this has been helpful.
